I work in an office on a daily basis (8h a day at a computer). Before the surgery, I had problems with myopia and astigmatism. It was out of the question to work at a computer or watch films without glasses. Recently, I even had problems recognising the faces of people who were at a slightly greater distance from me. Once I confused the trams and got on the „8” instead of the „6”.... On top of all this, I had bothersome headaches after working in front of a computer screen for several hours.
The procedure itself was a challenge for me, but I knew how much could change for me afterwards, so I was fully motivated to cooperate with the doctor during the procedure. I didn't feel any pain during the procedure and the discomfort was as bearable as possible and related more to stress than to the steps involved in correcting a visual defect. For the first week after treatment, I had to get out of the habit of correcting glasses that didn't exist. I sincerely recommend the laser correction procedure at Blikpol and it was by far the best decision I have made in the last few years. The only thing I regret is that I didn't decide to have it sooner.
