The history of BLIKPOL began in Sopot-Wyścigi - shaped by our location, our team and a very specific need. We wanted to create a clinic where state-of-the-art ophthalmology goes hand in hand with attentiveness, empathy and time dedicated to each person.
From the beginning, we knew that eye care is more than tests and procedures. It is about conversation, trust and a sense of security. That is why, from the very first days, we built BLIKPOL as a space for relationships — calm, based on partnership and mutual respect.
This approach remains with us to this day — whether a patient is coming for their first examination, to be assessed for surgery, or for a follow-up appointment years later.

Back in 2007, we performed our first cataract operations — procedures that quickly became a cornerstone of our clinical work. Since then, we have performed thousands of them, and every medical decision has been accompanied by the trust you have placed in us.
In parallel, we have been expanding our expertise in laser vision correction. For many patients, this has meant waking up without glasses for the first time, greater freedom in everyday life and a new way of experiencing the world. It is a moment that cannot be fully described — it simply has to be experienced.
