How do flap-based methods differ from surface methods?
Metody płatkowe (PRESBYOND®, FemtoLASIK) i mikrosoczewkowe (SMILE Pro) polegają na wykonaniu delikatnego cięcia w rogówce i korekcji głębszych warstw, co zapewnia szybszą rekonwalescencję (1-2 dni). At BLIKPOL, we only perform proven, state-of-the-art methods, based on current medical knowledge and many years of clinical experience.
Surface methods (PRK, EBK)
These are methods in which the excimer laser reshapes the surface of the cornea after the epithelium has been removed.

The femtosecond laser creates a very thin flap in the cornea, while the excimer laser precisely corrects the refractive error.

The most advanced method. The laser creates a microlens inside the cornea through a 2-3 mm incision. Minimal invasiveness

Powyżej 40 lat PRESBYOND®
Advanced presbyopia treatment method. The femtoseccond laser precisely creates a thin corneal flap of individually planned thickness and shape.

For thin corneas PRK
One of the first laser correction methods. We remove the corneal epithelium and shape the corneal surface with an excimer laser. Ideal for people with thin corneas and small defects.
