I had a visual defect from the age of 13, but it was very slight, I only needed glasses to read from the blackboard at school. It wasn't until university that the defect increased so significantly that I had to wear glasses or lenses all the time.
I was comfortable in my glasses, but I really disliked putting my lenses on, so I also did sports in my glasses, which wasn't very comfortable. I didn't like my glasses fogging up when I entered a café. Because of the thick lenses in my glasses, I didn't want to put on make-up.
Blikpol was recommended to me by an ophthalmologist friend. For the first fire went my husband :). As with him everything went well and I decided to go too.
The procedure was performed by Dr Czuszynski, who impressed me as a very calm, balanced and competent person. I did not feel pain, rather discomfort, I was stressed and my head was spinning. At the same time, the team gave me a sense of security - their conversations were calm and to the point, and I felt that nothing was happening that surprised them.
After the procedure I felt very sleepy because my eyelids were closing on their own as a result of the anaesthetic drug. Other than that, I felt pretty good, but I was also a bit anxious about the outcome of the operation.
The day after the treatment, I couldn't believe I could see so well. In the afternoon I drove myself from Gdansk to Sopot for the eye check! I felt great, I didn't have any pain, the visual acuity was very good, I was just a little bit irritated by strong light sources.
It is now much more comfortable on a day-to-day basis, I started to paint myself much more often.
I would definitely recommend the treatment at Blikpol, I already do!
