For as long as I can remember I have had problems with my eyesight. Even before I went to school, my parents would forcefully take me to the optician and put my glasses on my nose. I never liked them, so the moment I had my first examination and had them put on my nose was forgotten :).
All my life I have shied away from wearing them. I hated the fact that they were always dirty and yet I never touched them, that they evaporated all autumn and winter, that I could never find them, that I had to go to the optician's every month to have the temples narrowed because they kept coming apart. Even though I was told I looked nice in them, they just felt wrong. I used to wear lenses. They gave me confidence, but they made my eyesight deteriorate even more and at a rapid rate. From month to month, my eyes were drying out more and accepting them less. I felt uncomfortable practically every day.
I found out about Blikpol from my ophthalmologist. She praised the professionalism of the doctors and the high quality of the services provided. I trust her 100% so the choice was very easy, I had practically no doubts about where I should go to correct my defect.
From the moment I made my appointment for the procedure to the moment I left Blikpol after the procedure, I felt a whole range of emotions. I was very excited from the start and couldn't wait to start seeing normally. I had spent the day before the procedure watching videos of similar procedures and it caused me considerable fear.
The prospect of being "buried" in my eyes began to terrify me. Waiting for the treatment, I was almost certain that the dose of calming syrup should have been at least three times higher. My hands were shaking and if it hadn't been my biggest dream for a long time, I would probably have considered running away :). I said to myself "you live once" and since then I haven't regretted my decision even for a second.
Both the qualifying visit for the procedure, the follow-up visits and, most importantly, the procedure itself were carried out by Witold Czuszynski, MD. He is a phenomenal doctor and a very nice person. Pfrom the first visit, he immediately inspired my trust and sympathy. He was very professional, told how the procedure was going, did a complete medical history and the necessary tests. Nothing changed afterwards, every follow-up visit was very nice and thorough. I can't imagine anyone else doing this procedure.
I was a little nervous during the procedure, but I knew I was in good hands. The doctor kept telling me what he was doing and gave me specific instructions. I had the impression that everything took no more than a minute.
I tell everyone that the day after the procedure was the most beautiful morning of my life. Someone who has not experienced it will never be able to understand what it feels like. I put my glasses on my nose out of curiosity and excitement levels, and when I saw the blurred bedroom walls, I shrugged with happiness. My whole life changed the moment I left the clinic.
I was able to take on my dream job, which was out of my reach before the surgery, I could see without having to worry about where my glasses were or whether I should change my lenses. Finally, the world became clearer and more beautiful.
I felt like I had won a million zlotys in the lottery, like I was the luckiest person in the world. In truth, it's very hard to describe it in a way that doesn't make me sound crazy, but my life has changed 180 degrees.
Practically after the procedure I had no problems with my eyes. I used drops according to the doctor's instructions and did not strain my eyes in front of the computer or television. The most annoying thing was the wind, which was very strong at the time, but this was basically unimportant to me and did not impair my quality of life (at least as long as I had sunglasses on my nose:).
Any inconvenience disappeared at an express pace, or I just didn't want to see it.
I would recommend everyone to have the procedure done and I would particularly recommend having it done at Blikpol. I believe that it is not only the quality of the services provided, which at Blikpol is top-notch, but also the atmosphere of the place that counts. There, without exception, everyone creates an incredibly homely atmosphere. From my first visit, I had the impression that I had known these people for years. Always smiling, always helpful and always professional.
I'm glad I went to Blikpol and I think the best proof of this is that my sister, persuaded by me, is also already after the same treatment. I recommend it to everyone who wants to improve the comfort of their life, it's definitely the best gift you can make for yourself 🙂 .
