I have worked with the Blikpol Clinic professionally for several years. As a medical tourism agent for Velcure, I have recommended the Clinic many times to my patients from abroad, who have each time been delighted with the service, the friendly atmosphere and the professionalism of the clinic. Our patients have always been satisfied with their visits, even though it has not always been possible to perform the procedure (for medical reasons).
In May 2017, I decided to use the services of the Clinic myself and I signed up for a consultation and a one-day procedure. This was an ideal solution for me, as I live outside Poland on a daily basis and I wanted to keep my stay in Poland as short as possible (appointment in the morning, procedure in the afternoon, obligatory consultation visit the following day and no contraindications to return home by plane).
Deciding on laser vision correction was not difficult - after years of wearing lenses, it sadly turned out that I could no longer wear them and had to swap the comfort of lenses for glasses. Scuffed nosepieces, perpetually soiled lenses, corrective sunglasses - these are just some of the many problems every spectacle wearer has to deal with. In my case, a veritable horror show was playing sports. Fitness with glasses is simply impossible!
Fortunately, iLasik came to my rescue. Admittedly, I had to part ways with the Fitness studio for 2 months of recovery time after the operation, but I have no regrets. The funny thing is that after returning to the sport, I was asked to sign a new contract at the fitness studio because no one recognised me there without my glasses! The convenience of doing sport without glasses is unimaginable and I don't think anyone who hasn't had to exercise with extra lenses on their nose before will appreciate it.
I have already told you a little bit about the operation in the video which you can watch on Youtube. Short and painless is how I can describe the whole visit. A few minutes for each eye is really time you can spend to see better and without glasses for the rest of your life!
Thanks to laser vision correction and BLIKPOL, I was able not only to return to my beloved sport, but also to say YES a year later without my glasses, seeing my husband clearly!
My only regret is that I didn't get the procedure done sooner....
