Eye specialist
Dr. Sykstus Holeksa is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and refractive surgery. In his practice, he combines clinical experience with an interest in modern treatment techniques, imaging diagnostics, and eye protection surgery.
Education and career path
He graduated from the Military Medical Faculty of the Medical University of Łódź in 2003. He started his specialization in ophthalmology in 2005 at the 7th Naval Hospital in Gdańsk, and obtained his title of ophthalmologist in 2011. In 2013, he obtained the qualifications to perform laser vision correction procedures and cross-linking treatment of corneal striae.
He is a member of the Polish Society of Ophthalmology (PTO) and the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS). He is also the author of publications on, among others, personalized laser vision correction Contoura™ Vision and eye protection device and surface surgery.
