I underwent laser eye correction surgery a month ago in a one-day procedure. Right before the surgery, I was very anxious about everything going well 😧, but the doctor performing the procedure and the wonderful nurses (who really showed great patience with me, for which I thank them! 😻) took great care of my comfort, explaining all the steps as they went along and telling me what they would do next. The procedure went really smoothly and without any problems, even though I was very stressed. 😊 After the surgery, my eyes burned terribly, and I had a strong feeling of “sand in the eye”—which is a normal “effect” of the procedure, so I went to sleep right away. The night was tough, but the next day, wow, I could see everything clearly! 😊 I received comprehensive answers to every question I asked, and the doctor dispelled all my doubts. 😊 The atmosphere, the staff (including the very kind receptionists!), and the equipment were truly of a very high standard. My vision impairment was reduced to zero (-2.75 and -2.50). 🥰🥰 To anyone who is hesitant, I definitely recommend going through with it—I myself regret not deciding to have the surgery earlier. 👌

Laser vision correction surgery
In response to your demand – for over ten years now, we have been performing laser vision correction procedures. Our first patients came from Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot, Rumia, Elbląg. However, over time, through word of mouth, our reputation reached relatives, friends, and ophthalmologists from completely different regions. It’s very gratifying for us when we hear stories like a patient traveling from Lublin across Poland for eye correction, or a patient from Warsaw taking time off specifically for a visit to Gdańsk with a “layover” for eye surgery at the Crooked House in Sopot.
Refractive surgery primarily addresses the vision problems listed in the subtitle, although they often occur in atypical combinations. Additionally, we mustn’t forget about numerous relative contraindications. It’s quite common that while preparing a treatment plan for you, we first consider the necessity of treating an eye condition or addressing a specific ailment – such as dry eye syndrome. Hence, the process of preparing for vision correction can take many months. In aiming for the best outcome and ensuring the laser eye procedure is conducted entirely safely, we consider this approach to be the only viable one.

Several years ago, aiming to facilitate access to our ophthalmologists for patients from the entire agglomeration, we decided to relocate from Zaspa to the heart of Tricity, which is Sopot. We wanted to ensure that our clinic could be reached and returned from equally quickly, whether from Morena or Stogi to Redłowo or Obłuże. The distance from Pruszcz was not much different from that from Rumia, and from Elbląg to Wejherowo. Over time, we added a location in the Crooked House to allow patients visiting from other provinces to enjoy the tourist attractions of Tricity more easily. This center naturally became specialized in vision correction. It’s also worth mentioning that the Blikpol ophthalmology center is part of the “KARDIOTEL” Medical Center, founded in 1997 in Gdańsk. The qualification examination itself lasts about 90-120 minutes, and in the case of a same-day procedure, it takes place in the morning. 2. Our team consists of 12 seasoned and excellently trained ophthalmologists and 5 ophthalmic nurses with years of experience. 4. The most expensive methods are not necessarily the best. Our experts will choose the treatment method that best suits your condition, not your wallet thickness. After completing the examinations and diagnosis, Blikpol doctors decide to select from one to three methods, and they will explain each of them in detail to you.
