Since I can remember, I’ve had problems with my eyesight. Even before I started school, my parents would forcibly take me to the optician and put glasses on my nose. I never liked them, so I’ve actually repressed the memory of the first examination and wearing them on my nose :).
Throughout my life, I resisted wearing them. I hated the fact that they were always dirty even though I never touched them, that they steamed up all autumn and winter, that I could never find them, that I practically had to go to the optician every month to tighten the temples because they kept coming loose. Even though I was told I looked good in them, I just felt bad. I wore contact lenses. They gave me confidence, but they made my vision worse and at a fast pace. Each month my eyes got drier and less tolerant of them. I practically felt discomfort every day.
My optician told me about Blikpol. She praised the professionalism of the doctors and the high quality of services provided. I trust her 100%, so the choice was very easy, I practically had no doubts about where I should go to correct my defect.
From the moment I scheduled the procedure until I left Blikpol after the surgery, I felt a whole range of emotions. From the beginning, I was very excited and couldn’t wait to start seeing normally. The day before the procedure, I spent watching videos of similar procedures, and it scared me a bit.
The prospect of “messing around” with my eyes started to terrify me. Waiting for the procedure, I was almost sure that the dose of calming syrup should be at least three times higher. My hands were shaking, and if it hadn’t been my biggest dream for a long time, I probably would have considered running away :). I told myself “you only live once,” and since then, I haven’t regretted my decision for a second.
Both the qualification visit for the procedure and the follow-up visits, and above all, the procedure itself, were performed by Dr. Witold Czuszyński. A phenomenal doctor and a very sympathetic person. During the first visit, he immediately gained my trust and sympathy. He was very professional, told me how the procedure would go, conducted a complete medical interview, and necessary tests. Nothing changed later, every follow-up visit was very pleasant and thorough. I can’t imagine anyone else performing this procedure.
During the procedure, I was a little nervous, but I knew I was in good hands. The doctor explained to me what he was doing and gave specific instructions. I felt like everything lasted no more than a minute.
I tell everyone that the day after the procedure was the most beautiful morning of my life. Someone who hasn’t experienced it will never understand what it feels like. Out of curiosity and excitement, I put on my glasses, and when I saw the blurry walls of the bedroom, I was moved with happiness. My whole life changed the moment I left the clinic.
I could take the dream job that was beyond my reach before the procedure, I could see without worrying about where my glasses were, or whether I should change my contact lenses. Finally, the world became clearer and more beautiful.
I felt like I had won a million złotys in the lottery, like I was the happiest person in the world. It’s really hard to describe it without sounding crazy, but my life changed 180 degrees.
Practically after the procedure, I had no problems with my eyes. I used drops as recommended by the doctor, I didn’t strain my eyes in front of the computer or TV. The wind irritated them the most, which was very strong at that time, but basically, it didn’t matter to me and didn’t lower my quality of life (at least as long as I had sunglasses on my nose :).
Any inconveniences disappeared in no time, or I just didn’t want to see them.
I recommend everyone to have the procedure done, and I especially recommend having it done at Blikpol. I believe that the overall assessment of a place counts not only the quality of services provided, which is at the highest level at Blikpol, but also the atmosphere of the place. There, without exception, everyone creates an incredibly homely atmosphere. From the first visit, I felt like I had known these people for years. Always smiling, always helpful, and always professional.
I’m glad I ended up at Blikpol, and I think the best proof of that is the fact that my sister, persuaded by me, has also undergone the same procedure. I recommend it to everyone who wants to improve the comfort of their life; it’s definitely the best gift you can give yourself :)
