Kasia Klimek
On a daily basis, I work in an office (8 hours a day in front of a computer). Before the procedure, I had problems with nearsightedness and astigmatism. Working at a computer or watching movies without glasses was out of the question. Recently, I even had trouble recognizing the faces of people who were slightly further away from me. Once I mistook trams and got on “8” instead of “6”… On top of all this, I had persistent headaches after a few hours of work in front of the computer screen.
The procedure itself was a challenge for me, but I knew how much it could change for me, so I was fully motivated to cooperate with the doctor during it. During the procedure, I felt no pain, and the discomfort was entirely bearable, more related to stress than to the actions performed during the vision correction. Dr. Aniśko, as well as the entire team of assisting nurses, are positive, professional, and caring individuals who understand that for some patients, it’s a huge experience. Their support, patience, and positive attitude helped me calmly go through the whole procedure.
For the first week after the procedure, I had to get rid of the habit of adjusting nonexistent glasses. It turned out that there were situations where I always adjusted my glasses – for example, when I set the kettle for tea. After the procedure, my hands naturally went to my nose, and… for the first few days, I adjusted glasses that weren’t there.

I highly recommend the laser vision correction procedure at Blikpol, and it was definitely the best decision I made in the past few years. The only thing I regret is not deciding on it earlier.
