Are all laser vision correction methods available at BLIKPOL?
At BLIKPOL Eye Clinic, we offer a full range of laser vision correction methods – from the latest technologies PRESBYOND® and SMILE Pro to the proven surface PRK and EBK methods. We have state-of-the-art equipment and over 18 years of experience in performing procedures.
Can I choose the method myself?
We always take your preferences into account, but the doctor's final recommendation is based on medical data and the results of your individual examination. Above all, the recommended method must be safe for you.
How much do the different methods cost?
Prices range from PLN 5900 to PLN 14400 per pair of eyes, depending on the method chosen. The latest SMILE Pro technology costs PLN 12900, FemtoLASIK - PLN 10900, Presbyond 14400 PLN. Surface methods: PRK Standard 5900 PLN, EBK Standard 7900 PLN. Detailed price list can be found in the price list section.
How do flap-based methods differ from surface methods?
The flat-surface methods (PRESBYOND®, FemtoLASIK) and the micro-lens methods (SMILE Pro) involve making a gentle cut in the cornea and correcting deeper layers, which ensures a faster recovery (1-2 days). The surface methods (PRK, EBK) correct defects on the surface of the cornea without creating a flap – they are ideal for people with a thin cornea, require a longer healing period (3-7 days), but provide equally excellent final results.
Are the most expensive methods the best?
No. The best method is the one that is safest and best suited to your eye. At Blikpol, we choose the procedure based on research and medical data – not price. If a more expensive method is not necessary, we do not recommend it.
Which laser correction method is best?
The choice of method depends on the individual parameters of your eye, the degree of vision defect, and the thickness of the cornea. During approximately 2-hour qualifying examinations, we perform a detailed diagnosis that allows us to select the optimal method. SMILE Pro and PRESBYOND® are the latest technologies offering minimal invasiveness and the highest precision. PRK and EBK are surface methods ideal for individuals with thinner corneas and minor defects.

Laser vision correction - which methods do we offer?
At BLIKPOL, we only perform proven, state-of-the-art methods, based on current medical knowledge and many years of clinical experience.
Surface methods (PRK, EBK)
These are methods in which the excimer laser reshapes the surface of the cornea after the epithelium has been removed.
Methods using a corneal flap (FemtoLASIK, PRESBYOND®)
The femtosecond laser creates a very thin flap in the cornea, while the excimer laser precisely corrects the refractive error.
Micro-lens methods (SMILE PRO)
The femtosecond laser creates a lenticule inside the cornea, which is removed through a microscopic incision

You don’t choose the method yourself. During the qualification and consultation, together with the doctor, you will choose the safest method for your vision, lifestyle, and expectations.
Largest correction range FemtoLASIK
Recommended for standard defects. The laser creates a thin flap in the cornea under which the tissue is modelled. High precision, fast healing and minimal discomfort.

The most advanced method. The laser creates a microlens inside the cornea through a 2-3 mm incision. Minimal invasiveness

For over 40 years old patients PRESBYOND®
Advanced presbyopia treatment method. The femtosecond laser precisely creates a thin corneal flap of individually planned thickness and shape.

For thin corneas PRK
One of the first laser correction methods. We remove the corneal epithelium and shape the corneal surface with an excimer laser. Ideal for people with thin corneas and small defects.

Modern surface method without cutting, combining the advantages of PRK and Epi-LASIK. Gentle removal of the corneal epithelium with precise laser treatment of the surface.
