September 5, 2016, became the day when I bid farewell to glasses forever. I work in a warehouse, specifically in the department responsible for preparing fruits for sale.
What prompted me to undergo the procedure? Well… definitely the vision problem that I’ve been dealing with since I was 6 years old, which gradually worsened and interfered with my daily life. The defect was moderate – OD myopia and astigmatism -3.75, and OS myopia -2.75.
My impressions of the procedure were primarily fear of whether it would be successful and if I would be able to see. I didn’t feel any pain because my eyes were numbed with drops. The procedure itself lasted about 10-15 minutes. My reaction after the procedure – SHOCK – a huge shock!
Entering the operating room, I couldn’t see anything, everything was blurry. After the procedure, my reaction was indescribable… overwhelming emotion and tears of happiness that I could see everything clearly and sharply. At the first post-procedure follow-up visit, I could see and read at 75%, and with subsequent visits, my vision significantly improved. A month after the procedure, I could read at 100%, which has remained the same to this day, and I am very, very pleased about it.
After the procedure, everything changed 180 degrees. I said goodbye to troublesome glasses that were constantly slipping off my nose and fogging up in the winter. Now I see everything clearly and sharply, and I no longer have problems reading from a distance or squinting to see something.
To all those who have vision problems and want to get rid of glasses, I wholeheartedly recommend the Blikpol clinic and the very kind staff as well as the wonderful Dr. Witold Czuszyński, to whom I entrusted my eyes – I don’t regret it :). For those who are undecided and afraid of the procedure, I strongly encourage you, because there’s nothing to fear, and life without glasses is simply beautiful!
