Jagoda Sarnowska-Tumminello, MD
Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Gdańsk. From 2019 to 2025 she completed her ophthalmology residency at the Ophthalmology Department of COPERNICUS Hospital in Gdańsk, where she diagnosed and treated eye diseases and performed surgeries on the ocular adnexa, including blepharoplasty, correction of upper-lid ptosis, repair of lower-lid entropion/ectropion, and surgical excision of pterygia. During her work on the ward she also performed intravitreal anti-VEGF injections and laser procedures in the treatment of glaucoma.
In 2024, in Paris, she passed the European Board of Ophthalmology Diploma (EBOD) examination, earning the FEBO title (Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology).
Member of the Polish Ophthalmological Society and the European Society of Ophthalmology. She systematically expands her knowledge by attending ophthalmology courses and congresses.
She is a professional who constantly seeks new challenges, believing that a smile and mutual trust are key to building a healthy relationship with others. Teamwork—and the physician-patient partnership—is her priority.
Private interests: kitesurfing, diving, and travel.

Diagnoses and treats patients with retinal diseases such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy (DR), central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO), and glaucoma.
Performs eye diagnostic tests: retinal and optic nerve head OCT, OCT angiography (OCTA), corneal tomography/topography (Pentacam), IOLMaster® biometry.
Qualifies patients for surgery and conducts postoperative follow-ups.
Performs surgery on the ocular adnexa.
