What is PRESBYOND\u00ae and how does it work?<\/h2><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

PRESBYOND\u00ae is a laser vision correction method designed for people with presbyopia, a natural deterioration in near vision that usually occurs after the age of 40. The procedure is based on technology FemtoLASIK<\/strong>. This means that the laser reshapes the cornea to improve the way the eye focuses light. With Presbyond, the correction is designed to help you see more comfortably at different distances: close up, at intermediate distances and into the distance.<\/p>\n

During the procedure, one eye is positioned mainly to look into the distance, whilst the other supports vision at closer ranges. This allows the eyes to work together, and the brain learns to use the images from both eyes in a new way.<\/p>\n
